Core classes are the ORGL classes offered through the BS/ORGL program. You must complete 27-30 hours of the core classes. (Some people refer to the “core” classes as the “major” classes.) You can review a complete list of courses and descriptions under “Courses to Take > Descriptions” at the menu on the left.

“Institution-focused” classes are those classes chosen by your home institution and offered through the BS/ORGL program to be a “focus of study” for your ORGL degree. You must complete 12–15 hours of institution-focused classes. These classes vary from institution to institution.

If a student needs additional hours to graduate outside of the core and focus area, these may be considered elective hours.

The first required course is ORGL 3113, Foundations of Organizational Leadership. The last required course is ORGL 4553, Capstone. The remaining ORGL classes can be taken in any order. It is recommended that a student not take more than one class when completing ORGL 3333 Data Analysis or ORGL 3443 Survey of Fiscal Management.

Unfortunately, not every school has the same student learning system. If you are visiting from another school that utilizes a different system and are experiencing difficulties, you should contact the institution's computing help staff at:
