2018

DirectComplete - Critical Occupations Focus.

Reach Higher: DirectComplete was launched in November 2018 adding more options for adult degree completion to the already successful Reach Higher infrastructure.  DirectComplete allows adult students the opportunity to complete their degree in one of Oklahoma's critical occupation industries. The Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, in cooperation with workforce boards, businesses, tribal agencies, nonprofits and higher education institution partners, leverage financial support and other services to help adult students complete their degrees with minimal personal cost.

2010

Reach Higher Program Expanded.

In 2010, community colleges developed an adult degree completion program at the associate transfer degree level to offer an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science in enterprise development (general studies or business administration). This program was developed for working adults who have already earned at least 18 hours of college credit and want to complete an associate degree. The Reach Higher Associate in Arts or Associate in Science in enterprise development program is offered in a non-traditional format with both on-campus and online class options, eight-week classes and flexible scheduling.

2007

Reach Higher Program Created.

In 2007, Reach Higher, a statewide adult degree completion program, was initiated to provide a statewide resource for students who had earned a minimal level of college credit hours, but been unable to complete their degrees due to personal restraints such as working full-time. Oklahoma's public universities developed Reach Higher – Oklahoma’s degree completion program to offer a Bachelor of Science in organizational leadership degree designed for working adults who have already earned at least 72 hours of college credit and want to finish a baccalaureate degree. The Reach Higher Bachelor of Science in organizational leadership degree program provides on-campus and online class options, eight-week classes and five enrollment periods per year.
