TEDNA is a membership organization for the Education Departments of American Indian and Alaska Native Tribes (“TEDs”). The founding of TEDNA has been supported by the Native American Rights Fund and the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Indian Education.

In 2017 The Oklahoma State Reagents for Higher Education signed a memorandum of understanding with TEDNA, agreeing to collaborate and support Tribal Education Departments and Tribal Education Agencies (TEDs and TEAs) in their sovereign efforts under federal law, programs, and funding.
